Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of IRLXP: the iPhone and iPad app, the web app at irl-xp.com, and the IRLXP accounts on social media. IRLXP is made by Zach Gaccione. By using IRLXP you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

What IRLXP is

IRLXP is a free habit tracker that plays like a role-playing game. You log real-life activities, earn XP and level up a character. It is for motivation and fun. It is not medical, financial or professional advice, and you are responsible for the choices you make in real life.

Your account

• You can play without an account. A free account backs up your progress and syncs it across your devices.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Menu → Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing contact@irl-xp.com.

Playing fair

Log only what you really did. Don’t edit or hack your XP, spam fake activities, use someone else’s account, interfere with the service, or use offensive character names. We may rename characters, remove content, or suspend accounts that break these rules, especially when prizes or other players are involved.

Friends and duels

Friends see your character name, level, gear and weekly progress, and, only if you turn on sharing, your recent activities. Be respectful. You can block or report any player, and reports are reviewed by the developer.

Coins and rewards

Coins are earned only by playing and have no cash value. Rewards in the Coin Shop are ones you set for yourself; IRLXP does not provide them. Coins cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.

The Level 25 holo card prize

The first 100 players who legitimately reach Level 25 and claim the prize in the app can receive their character card printed on a physical holographic trading card. No purchase is necessary. Levels are checked before cards are mailed, and claims that break the fair-play rules above are not eligible. One card per player and per email address. Mailing details are collected only by email and used only to send the card. The prize can’t be exchanged for cash. Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, this promotion.

Our content

The IRLXP name, logo, artwork, gear designs and videos belong to IRLXP. You may share your own character card and recaps from the app anywhere you like.

Availability and changes

We work to keep IRLXP running and your progress safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and may sometimes be unavailable. We may change or end features. To the extent the law allows, IRLXP is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the service. If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
